As a Milwaukee native, I have always loved my city for the atmosphere and the artistic flow it held. After getting my first degree in Small Business, I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur and help others in their journey to becoming one as well. I decided to pursue my degree in Graphic Design at MATC and can easily say it was the best decision I ever made. After two years I feel like I have every skill I will need for my future. I have also finished two internships and have created a brand for myself that I can be proud of. I have so much motivation and I’m ready to get started!
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
You will be introduced to the range of opportunities in this field: design of print-generated and computer-generated graphics for books, newspapers, magazines, web applications and marketing materials; and additional design applications for point-of-purchase, packaging and outdoor advertising.
Today’s digital world reduces the geographic limits for finding clients. Employers include advertising agencies, corporations and nonprofit groups.
You can earn the Production Artist technical diploma on the way to completing the Graphic Design associate degree.
