My name is Ashley Fry and I’m a senior here at Milwaukee Area Technical College. I grew up here in Milwaukee. Art is like therapy to me when I feel down or happy, but it’s mostly my hobby and I enjoy it with my family also. Before I officially became a 2D Animation Student, I’ve been doing a lot of sketching and painting starting in my youngest age. In 2018, I graduated from High School of the Arts as a visual artist. I started to become obsessed with digital art. The reason why I want to do 2D Animation is not only because I’m inspired by cartoons and designing, but also because I like to try different art. I learned very much about how 2D is the same and different from traditional art. And It’s also fun too. I’m lucky to have people in my life and myself to never give up on anything. And I’ll keep going on my journey of being an artist and an animator.
