I believe a beautiful, well designed space will always have a function. For me, the most important function a space has is fostering connection. Connection amongst design elements of course, but more importantly, amongst people. For that reason, I approach each project as designing a unique experience, rather than simply designing a ‘space’.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Interior designers use creativity, technical knowledge, and aesthetics to create solutions that improve the function and quality of interior environments. Coursework includes manual and computer-aided design (CAD) drawing, and commercial and residential planning.

Demand for interior designers is strongest in kitchen and bath design and remodeling, and in corporate and industrial facilities design.

The Interior Design program features exploratory courses that count toward a credential. Contact an MATC advisor for information.
