Bri Livingston-Lengyel

It took me changing my major three times, three different colleges, a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, and moving across the world to Thailand (during the pandemic), to realize that I wanted to be an Interior Designer. Three years later I am now working at Fringe Interior Design & Home Furnishings as an Interior Designer and will be graduating in May.

I strive to be an adaptable design-forward designer that crafts spaces that reflect my clients’ stories and unique points of view while balancing aesthetics and function. My desire to create, experience the world around me, and help people is why I became an Interior Designer. I am deeply passionate about the work I produce and pride myself on the effort I give each of my projects. I have learned a lot in these two short years at MATC and I look forward to continuing to grow as an artist and professional.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Interior designers use creativity, technical knowledge, and aesthetics to create solutions that improve the function and quality of interior environments. Coursework includes manual and computer-aided design (CAD) drawing, and commercial and residential planning.

Demand for interior designers is strongest in kitchen and bath design and remodeling, and in corporate and industrial facilities design.

The Interior Design program features exploratory courses that count toward a credential. Contact an MATC advisor for information.
