As an immigrant from Mexico I look forward to further opportunities to serve and advocate for important causes. Whether as a writer, producer, director, or advocate, I aspire to recognize the underrepresentation and misrepresentation that persist in the media. As student I have developed and produced multiple stories highlighting diversity, music, the arts, and the community. Growing up within Mexican culture has propelled me further into exploring creativity through various mediums.
I’ve held multiple roles in the TV Program but the most memorable include Student Executive Producer (MATC Now!) and Set Designer (LTS 2022: Claus’ Candy Shop)
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
Prepare for a career in the production, operation and programming areas of broadcast television, cable, or corporate and commercial video. You will gain hands-on experience in the high-definition studios of Milwaukee PBS, a leader in HDTV production.
Graduates have an excellent entry-level employment history in a competitive field. Potential employers are TV stations, cable systems, advertising agencies, private industry, educational institutions and video production houses.
You can earn the TV/Video Studio Production Assistant technical diploma on the way to completing the Television and Video Production associate degree.
