Lacey Treadway
I’ve taken a winding road to become a graphic designer. Growing up in North Carolina, I was a very creative child, filling up reams of computer paper with drawings and stories and characters. In college, I combined my love of design and science to earn a Bachelors in Biological Archaeology and Art History. After graduation, I dove into customer service, and after years of making coffee, I knew I needed to do something new. My designs are fun and colorful, and I love to include illustrated elements. I am user experience-driven, and apply strong attention to detail to all my work.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
You will be introduced to the range of opportunities in this field: design of print-generated and computer-generated graphics for books, newspapers, magazines, web applications and marketing materials; and additional design applications for point-of-purchase, packaging and outdoor advertising.
Today’s digital world reduces the geographic limits for finding clients. Employers include advertising agencies, corporations and nonprofit groups.
You can earn the Production Artist technical diploma on the way to completing the Graphic Design associate degree.
