I have always liked the idea of getting to the essence of things and I enjoy realizing ways to get a point across. I have excellent writing aptitude. I have studied Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign and skills for advertising packaging, branding, and digital media. I enjoy philisophical approaches to analysis and thus am a good candidate for innovative ideas. I have alwyas enjoyed art and literature since childhood, and I know that my sensitivities and conceptual talents can benefit any design company or client’s work.
GRAPHIC DESIGN STUDENTS
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
You will be introduced to the range of opportunities in this field: design of print-generated and computer-generated graphics for books, newspapers, magazines, web applications and marketing materials; and additional design applications for point-of-purchase, packaging and outdoor advertising.
Today’s digital world reduces the geographic limits for finding clients. Employers include advertising agencies, corporations and nonprofit groups.
You can earn the Production Artist technical diploma on the way to completing the Graphic Design associate degree.
